Throughout March and April, the General Plan Advisory Committee (GPAC) held four community workshops to gather input on how our community should plan for housing. Each session was a deep dive into different aspects of what goes into the Housing Element. Recordings of the presentations and group report outs are linked below. Please note the discussions at each table could not be recorded, so only the workshop introductions and group report outs are included in the recordings.

As COVID-19 restrictions are being lifted, the opportunity to come together and discuss housing in Lafayette is now! On Wednesday, June 30th, the GPAC will be recreating the workshop activities at an in-person workshop to gather as broad of views as possible.

During the event, you’ll get to participate in activities to share your opinion on where new housing should be planned in the context of existing housing, wildfire risk, traffic congestion, school capacity, and more!

Can’t make the workshop? We still want to hear from you!

Use the links below to access the workshop activities on the General Plan engagement hub, EngagementHQ. Check out our “How to Use EngagementHQ” post for more information on what’s available to you on the platform!

Follow these 5 easy steps to register on EngagementHQ to participate in all activities available.
